Terms of Use
These terms explain the limits of this experimental geometry tool and the responsibilities you accept when using it.

1. Accepting these terms
By checking the acceptance box or using Fix3DFile, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not process or download a file. You must be at least 13 to use the service. If you are 13–17, use the service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who has reviewed these terms with you.
2. What the service does
Fix3DFile analyzes, modifies, reconstructs, previews, and exports STL geometry in your browser. It is an experimental automated tool, not a professional engineering, manufacturing, safety, medical, or legal service. A successful geometry check does not establish that a model is accurate, printable, strong, safe, lawful, or suitable for any particular purpose.
3. Your files and responsibilities
You retain your rights in files you use with the service. You represent that you own each file or have permission to use, modify, and print it. You are responsible for the model, the repair settings you choose, the resulting file, and every use of that result.
You must inspect the repaired geometry, compare it with the original, review the change record, slice it, and perform appropriate testing before printing or relying on it. Do not use the service unlawfully or rely on its output for medical devices, emergency equipment, structural systems, aviation, vehicles, protective equipment, weapons, or any other safety-critical purpose.
4. Automated changes
Repair and solid reconstruction can close intended openings, remove detail, merge nearby parts, change dimensions, alter topology, or create other unexpected results. Diagnostics and deviation measurements can contain errors or omit defects. The original file is preserved by the application, but you remain responsible for keeping your own backups.

5. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FIX3DFILE IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” “AS AVAILABLE,” AND “WITH ALL FAULTS,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY, PRINTABILITY, OR SAFETY.
Fix3DFile does not inspect or validate slicer settings, G-code, printer operation or clearances, material properties, load capacity, dimensional tolerances, or suitability for safety-critical use. You are responsible for inspecting, slicing, testing, and validating all output before printing or use.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

6. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FIX3DFILE AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING FAILED PRINTS, WASTED MATERIAL, LOSS OF DATA OR USE, EQUIPMENT OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR HARM ARISING FROM A PRINTED OBJECT, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGE WAS POSSIBLE.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of Fix3DFile and its operator for all claims arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to use the service during the twelve months before the claim. Because the service is currently provided without charge, that amount may be zero.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
7. Availability and changes
The service may change, become unavailable, or stop being offered at any time. These terms may be updated for future use. The effective date at the top identifies the version you accepted.
